The 1973 Isle of Man 4-Coin Sovereign Set features a quintuple sovereign (£5), double sovereign (£2), sovereign and half sovereign.
The coins are struck from 0.916 (22 carat) gold and have a proof finish. The set contains just over two troy ounces of gold.
There were no British sovereigns issued in 1973, making this Isle of Man set particularly appealing to collectors.
This example is cased with certificate number 136. There is a pencil annotation on the reverse of the certificate. The coins are still sealed in plastic as issued, therefore FDC. The case is in excellent condition. The total mintage for this set was 1,250 pieces.
