The Isle of Man's Forth Christmas Double Crown.

1983 Christmas Double Crown 50p enclosed in a Christmas Card, with 'Season's Greetings' in eight different languages.

For the reverse of the 1983 Isle of Man Double Crown the period is the 1920's and the scene is the town of Ramsey on the island's north east coast. Christmas shoppers are portrayed in dress of that period, with Ramsey market in the background. In the foreground is a Ford car. Scampering out of harm's way, to the right of the figure '50', is a tailless Manx cat.

The obverse face bears the official coinage portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Arnold Machin, R.A.
