This was issued unnamed to 1,300 children and a small number of Chelsea pensioners who attend a banquet at the Guildhall on the 28th December 1914. The children were all sons and daughters of men in the Fleet or on the Western Front. One child was chosen from each family by Sir James Gildea of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Families' Association.
